Considering the cultural context of Lassin which is male-dominated, Noni Women’s Association (NWA) has decided to take upon this initiative as a way of self-help development vis-à-vis their problems. This multi-purpose hall is geared towards realizing women’s activities at two levels. The first level is that, this hall will be a co-operative centre geared towards storing and marketing agricultural produce. The second level is that of using this hall as a training centre vis-à-vis sex education, secondary ship, farming techniques, life skills and just to cite a few.
Lassin Women have contributions in kind and in cash to offer vis-à-vis this construction project. In kind, voluntary labour will be offered by some village youths (girls and boys) for the entire construction project. This volunteer work will be subsequently …………in the budget of this project.
