Cream’s Plan of Action ( 2006-2009)
Upon stringent review of the recommendations as per the tri-annual evaluation report of CREAM’S activities, whereby project performance was put into an open debate by the General Assembly meeting. The following programme of activities were pre-selected as projects of high impact orientations for the next three years.
Specific Presentation
1 (a) Title of the Project:
Income Generating skills ( vocational skills) for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). [2006-2009]
(b) Beneficiaries: Orphans, and vulnerable children –Yaoundé, Buea, Lassin.(500)
(c) General Objective:
Reduce extreme poverty by offering self-employment and income generating skills to orphans and vulnerable children.
(d) Specific Objectives:
Promote self-employment as the only option to unemployment.
Provide a start-up capital.
Reduce crime wave and insecurity.
Promote economic growth.
Reduce juvenile delinquency.
(e) Expected Results:
Self-employment will rise.
Crime wave and insecurity will drop.
Juvenile delinquency will equally drop.
Small businesses will rise.
(f) Sustainability:
Membership donations.
Registration fees.
Fundraising activities.
State subsidies.
(g) Realisation Cost = 35, 000, 000CFAF
2 (a) Title of the Project:
Construction of a skill centre: two classrooms, and a security fence on CREAM land. [2006-2009] Odza – Yaoundé
(b) Beneficiaries: Vulnerable children, old persons and women
(c) General Objective:
Address the problem of expensive healthcare services by offering a cheaper alternative healthcare facility for vulnerable children.
(d) Specific Objectives
Offer cheap healthcare services and essential drugs.
Mainstream HIV/AIDS campaigns in all training programs.
Reduce poverty.
Boast productivity.
Promote economic growth.
(e) Expected Result:
More self-employment jobs shall be created.
HIV/AIDS and STDs will drop.
Community morbidity will drop.
Poverty will reduce.
The economy will grow.
(f) Sustainability:

3(a) Title of the project:
Capacity building skills for teenage orphan girls [2006-2009] in Lassin -Northwest Province
(b) Beneficiaries: teenage orphan girls and vulnerable children.
General Objective:
Create a sense of gender equity at the level of offering survival skills to teenage orphan girls.
Specific Objectives:
Provide self-employment skills.
Reduce prostitution.
Create a sense of equal opportunities for teenage orphan girls.
Promote economic growth.
Eradicate teenage girl trafficking for urban centres.
Expected Results:
Self-employment will be on the increase.
Prostitution will drop.
Social justice shall prevail.
The economy shall grow.
Teenage girl trafficking shall drop.

4 (a) Title of the Project:
Monitoring of the exploitation of child labour/child trafficking. [2006-2009]
(b) Beneficiaries: victims, relatives of victims and the public
(c) General Objective:
Reduce this trend in Cameroon as a way forward of promoting normal child development.
(d) Specific Objectives:
Reduce child suffering.
Raise public awareness.
Reduce the number of children who have dropped out from schools and are being used as labourers by their parents or guardians.
Reduce the number of street children.
Reduce child prostitution.
Carry out radio and visual advocacy.
Expected Results:
Child trafficking will reduce.
Child prostitution will drop
School drop out rates will reduce.
Public awareness will be on the increase.

5(a) Title of the Project: Pro-poor child Sponsorship Fund. [2006-2009]
(b) Beneficiaries: orphans and vulnerable children

Offer scholarship and educational assistance to intelligent poor children.
(d) Specific Objectives:
Promote social justice-equal opportunity.
Promote social integration of poor children.
Reduce extreme poverty.
Reduce crime wave and insecurity.
Expected Results:
Poverty will reduce.
Crime wave and insecurity will reduce.
Social justice/equal opportunity shall prevail.
Social mobility for poor children can become a reality.

6 (a) Title of the project:
Goat Farming in Mfe, Nwa subdivision, Donga Mantung Division of Cameroon. [2006 – 2009]

General Objectives: alleviate poverty through animal husbandry.

offer self-employment for youths and women
generate income for poor families
reduce economic wave and insecurity
promote animal farming productivity.

(c) General Objective: Offer educational and health assistance to HIV/AIDS orphans
(d) Specific objectives:
promote the social mobility of orphans and vulnerable children
promote equal opportunity
promote the normal psychosocial development of these children

Fight desertification
Fight soil aridity and infertility
Promote sustainable consumption of fuel wood (fire wood)
Promote community forest
Promote bee-farming
Promote sustainable furniture industries
(e) Expected Results
Desertification shall reduce by 90% in this region
Soil fertility will improve on the long-run
Fuel wood (fire wood) will be sustainable managed by the community.

(b) Targeted audiences: Children, youths, decision makers, donors and interested public parties in need of environmental education.
( C ) General Objective: Publish a magazine geared tpwards informing, educating and advocating on issues related to the environment; poverty alleviation; gender equity; and HIV/AIDS alongside other health challenges of the millenium.
(d) Specific Objectives:
Fight against deforestation.
Promote community forestry
Fight against child poverty and unemployment.
Advocate for gender equity.
Promote the fight against HIV/AIDS and other health challenges of the millenium.
